We are delighted to announce that Marc Sokol has joined our Board of Directors. Marc led Florida Funders’ participation in SecureCo’s seed round and has been a valued advisor to the company. We’re very glad to have him on board!
Marc is a General Partner at Florida Funders, where he chairs the investment committee, and serves on the boards of several technology companies. He is also Chairman of VirtualZ Computing. His 40+ year career in the technology industry includes engineering, marketing, M&A, and executive management. He started his investing career over 20 years ago as a general partner at JK&B Capital and was responsible for many investment successes including as an early-stage investor in Splunk (SPLK). Prior to that, he spent 10 years as an executive at Computer Associates (CA) which acquired the company he co-founded, Realia Inc. Marc attended the Illinois Institute of Technology. Marc is also President of the board of CAST, a social services charity on eastern Long Island.
